bloomfield michigan right outside of detroit. you can see a giant hole in the side of the house. cops this morning used heavily machinery to tear through the exterior in an effort to get that suspect out of there. police say this all started last night when this officer patrick arorck is his name married father of four with a family responded to a 911 call about a man who tried to kill himself. when that officer and others climbed stairs to the second floor, the suspect fired through his bedroom door and a wall and killed officer arourke. there was a standoff then a reporter for our fox affiliate in detroit heard dozens of rounds going off near the house. hear listen. jimmy hoffa turned to a driveway in suburban detroit. according to a police chief in roseville, michigan, a man said he saw a body buried there about 35 years ago and he thinks it may have been of the former teamsters boss. why not? he went missing back in 1975. he was last scene seen outside a restaurant before he was set to meet with a local ma yeah captain and labor leader. radar reveals something is under there and they plan to take a soil sample and test it for human remains. still the police chief does not feel confident. >> we are not saying there is jimmy hoffa but there is possibly a body in this area. it's about the time frame he disappeared but the time frame is off. >> shep: this is not the first time they responded to a tip. they have been following leads an digging up possible burial sites. in 2003 they searched in backyard pool. in 2006 the f.b.i. sent two weeks digging at a horse farm, no hoffa. trace gallagher with the news. police keep saying they don't think it's jimmy hoffa, why all the interest? >> couple reasons, it's one of unsolved mysteries and the cops
